4 month update

Our boy is growing like a weed!! Here are his stats-
Weight - 13 lbs, 15oz (23%tile)
Length - 25.75" (74%tile)
Head - 16.25" (53%tile)

Dr says he looks great. We need to be a bit more diligent with tummy time because his head is still a bit flat in the back.

He is still mostly in size 0-3 mos clothes and size 1 diapers. He has started blowing raspberries all.day.long. He loves it! He still "talks" all day. He loves to just holler and hear himself make noise. He's become much more interested in his toys. He loves to have something to hold and put in his mouth. He just slings his toys all around while he sits in his bumbo. It's so cute. He has rolled from his tummy to back once. He will not do it again!! I know he will eventually, but I hope it's soon. It was so exciting!

I can't believe our sweet little man is already 4 months old! He is so precious and we are enjoying every second with him!!

Our furry child

Sweet Brooklyn. Our first baby. Her world has been turned upside down with the arrival of Sawyer. She seems to be very curious about him and loves to do run by lickings. Especially of his toes. ;). She's really been so good with him. She is gentle around him and I think having sawyer in the house has overall calmed her down. Everyone said that we would love her less once sawyer arrived. That is in no way true. We still love our sweet girl as much as we ever did, although we don't have quite as much time for her as we used to. Here are some pics of our sweet fur baby.

4 months old

We go to the Dr. tomorrow so I'll do another post with his stats and 4 month accomplishments later. I just wanted to compare him from birth to now. He's changed so much!!

First 4th of July

Sawyer had a rough day on the 4th. Our plan was to head down to the bay front to see friends (ie, show off our cute baby) and stay for the fireworks. Sawyer had had an upset tummy and had been trying to poop all day. About 4:00 he finally got a little out and needless to say he was majorly constipated. :( poor baby! He was miserable. It ended up being about a 4 hour ordeal and we made the decision to stay home. I felt so bad for my little man, he was so pitiful. But a few doses of Karo syrup later and he seems to be much better. We'll try again with the fireworks next year.

Sawyer's 1st swim

So we came down to Florida to spend some time with Glenn's family and continue our summer tour of grandparents (more posts on that later). Meme and Pawpaw have a pool so we thought it would be the perfect time for Sawyer's first swim. He reacted to it pretty much like he reacts to most things. Laid back. :). We love our bumbo!

Sawyer has been sitting in his bumbo for a few minutes a day for almost a month now and he always seems so proud of himself. I think he is too cute when he sits up there so big. Here are some pics of Sawyer and his friend Bumbo. :)

3 months

Our little Sawyer is 3 months old!!  Where is time going?!  He's such a sweet, happy little boy.  He loves to "talk" and squeal the majority of the time he's awake.  He has started really giggling at specific things.  He thinks his Daddy and Brooklyn are just hilarious!   He gives HUGE gummy smiles anytime he sees Glenn or me, and lately he's been giving huge smiles and then hiding his face like he's flirting.  It's so adorable!!  He is holding his head up great, and tries to pull himself up to a sitting position anytime he's leaning back propped up.  He loves his swing and his hanging toys and he's been spending a little time each day in his Bumbo.  He always looks so proud of himself to be sitting up like a big boy.

He is sleeping great at night!  He sleeps in his crib now (sniff), from about 8:30-6.  Then he usually goes right back down after he eats until about 8.  Now his napping is a whole different situation.  He likes to cat nap but occasionally we can get a good long nap out of him.  He just fights so hard to stay awake during the day, so we are trying to figure him out and make sure he gets enough rest.

He weighs 12lbs, 7oz and is 25in long. He is wearing 0-3 mos clothes (although probably not for much longer), and size 1 diapers.  He's growing like crazy.

We absolutely love our sweet, happy, funny little man.  He is really developing his own little personality and I am truly enjoying every second with him!!!
